Established in 1981, USA Deaf Volleyball (USADVB) is committed to the development of beach volleyball players. The sport was introduced as a Deaflympic sport during the 2005 games in Melbourne, Australia. National teams represent the US in international Deaf Beach Volleyball championships and at the Deaflympics.
